PB means prductive purp. You get something stuck in the band area and it comes back up. It really isn't as bad as it sounds. The numbers are starting weight/ weight now/ and your goal weight. I had no pain from surgery or afterwards. I walked out of the recovery room behind my wheelchair per doctor's request. I continued to walk a lot. That helps with the gas pain if you have any. I was only sore in the abdominal area when I would get up and down. I slept in the recliner one night and after that in bed without any pain. I can sleep on either side or back. You will want to walk all the time right after surgery. I eat normal food. I just make sure I eat protein first and then veggies. I also take a chewable vitamin everyday. I eat very few carbs and no sweets. I eat sugarfree jello sugarfree popsicles and pudding when I want something sweet. I will always have to make good choices in what I eat but the band lets me be satisfied with a small amount and I
don't have the hungry feelings like I use to have before the band. Good luck with your surgery.
