Gary, you definately need help! But seriously, I have the same
thoughts and concerns. It is normal to think about things like this
when you are overweight. You are doing super with your loss and will
only be smaller by the time you go on your trip. I am so happy to
see your success!
The last time I flew before my surgery, I couldn't get the belt
around me. I was too ashamed to ask for an extender, so I hid it
with my blanket. The most recent time I flew was 2 weeks ago when I
went to Vegas for my birthday. I had to tighten the belt, sat in a
middle seat and used the tray table. No one but an obese person
could really appreciate that and not take it for granted! I don't
even worry about breaking furniture or sitting on delicate chairs
anymore. It is a great feeling. Best wishes to you.
Joy :)

> My family (wife & 2 kids and me) are going to Disney world and
Universal in May our flight leaves on my birthday 5-10-08 (happy 36
to me). My kids are very excited, they ask about all the normal
things: plane ride, how fast or the rides, will we get wet, etc....My
wife is thinking about things like washer & dryer, utensils in the
room, transportation, money, etc....and here is my thoughts, is this
weird?

and if maybe I can ride the rides without an extender, also wandering
if I will fit better in the airplane seat than I did the last time I
flew, I am almost excited about the fact of possibly being more
comfortable in the plane and on the rides. I'm sure I will be the
only person in the park or on the plane looking around to see if
anyone is having trouble fitting into their seat (what a thing to do
on your vacation)
