Karen,
You have just transitioned back to solid food, so your
body is adjusting to this new trend. You are right with the
idea that too few calories can put your body into "hybernation"
mode - so some more calories would be wise. If you aren't
voiding enough, I'd say you are dehydrated - (is your urine
concentrated or pale yellow?? - you want pale - use this as
an indicator to drink more fluids) If you have no stools, you
may be constipated - again more water, fiber, flax, maybe some
prune juice.
